This place was awesome. it really is Black waters!! the rooms are nice and spacious. Beds are comfortable Staff is friendly- Madelein in Particular is a superstar, she goes beyond her job. Luke the guide is cool peoples. the gardeners and cleaners are well mannered and helpful. We enjoyed the the canoeing on site. they had a full moon guided(Craig) river canoe experience, what a wow. the their hiking trail was refreshing. you can even canoe all the way to the river mouth leading to the ocean by Buffelsbay Owner Marelyn(I hope I spelt it right) is sweet. do make use of the restaurant, the ladies are super cooks and the barman is legend. will definitely return.

The food here is phenomenal. We come here about once a month, and every visit is great. There's plenty of open space for the kids to just run around, and blow off some energy, the staff are always friendly, and the scenery is just breathtaking.

An Unforgettable Stay in Nature Blackwaters River Lodge is truly something special. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at ease. The setting is breathtaking — surrounded by nature, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared with attention to detail. You can really feel the care and pride that goes into every part of the property. What stood out most was the atmosphere — calm, restorative, and full of charm.
