This place offers more than just a meal, they offer a special kind of experience that offers many different tastes of the sea. Each dish is made with a lot of flavour and quality. One of those "must do" experiences.

Such a unique dinning experience and the freshest most delicious dishesespecially the snoek and seafood pot!, be sure to arrive hungry! You can even bring your own cooler box!

Our second time at De Vette but first time in Grootbrak, the setting is so picturesque overlooking the beach with the lights of Mossel Bay in the distance. The atmosphere is equally fantastic. The food itself is a bit hit or miss, for example the snoek is AMAZING but we ordered extra catch of the day and calamari which was very ordinary. Beware of the bread though, it’s incredibly tasty and they give you a lot of it so it’s easy to fill up early!
