Fabulous place. Perfect weekend getaway. The jungle gym for the kids is unfortunately not at the campsite but at the chalet side. Would be nice to have one by the campsite as well. Not sure if allowed but it would be great if the river banks were flattened to allow easy access. Other than above we had a great weekend and thank you Antoinette for the good service.

Cant comment on the room, because we camp here, but the ablutions are great. The campsite can get very busy but we've never had an issue with late night noise or music. Great for kids as they all form little gangs and run around together. Great for mountain bikers too as the routes are close and easy to get to. Some carp was even caught in the river. Something for everyone. Little shop was also super useful. One our favourites.

Here is your revised version with smoother wording and better flow: We spent this past weekend at Oewerzicht Farm Cottages and had a wonderful stay. The cottage we stayed in was lovely, and the bed was extremely comfortable — which is always an important part of any stay for me. The kitchen area, along with the indoor braai and fireplaces, was a truly nice touch and made the cottage feel warm and welcoming. There was also a hot tub, which I personally didn’t use, but it came highly recommended by friends who made good use of it over the weekend. One of the highlights of the weekend was the Lapa area. It rained on our second day, but all 40+ of us were still able to gather comfortably in the covered Lapa and enjoy our time together. It was the perfect space for a large group. The only thing I felt our particular cottage lacked was a microwave. I understand this doesn’t apply to all the cottages, only some of the smaller ones. The little town of Greyton, just a few kilometres from the farm, is picturesque and offers many excellent restaurants — perfect for a little outing during your stay. All in all, we had a wonderful weekend and I would highly recommend Oewerzicht Farm Cottages to anyone looking for a special place to celebrate an occasion or enjoy a relaxing getaway.

Our stay at this self-catering accommodation was absolutely magical. The setting is breathtaking — overlooking a large, tranquil dam surrounded by mountains that seem to change color with every hour of the day. From sunrise to sunset, the view is simply unforgettable. Each morning, we woke up to the sound of hundreds of birds singing — a natural symphony that made coffee on the patio even more special. Evenings were just as enchanting, with soft fairy lights twinkling around us while frogs sang from the water’s edge. It felt like something out of a storybook. The accommodation itself was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to host a small private function, with ample space and quality appliances. Every detail has clearly been considered to make guests feel at home. If you’re looking for peace, beauty, and a touch of magic, this place is a perfect escape. We left feeling completely refreshed and can’t wait to return!
