My husband and I stayed for two nights at Gondwana Private Game reserve and we could not speak more highly of the experience. The service, the food, the game drives, the accommodation, the views...everything was truly exceptional. We would like to make a special mention of our game driver, Tracey, who made every drive exciting and memorable. Warm, friendly, funny and incredibly knowledgeable, she answered all of our questions and made sure that we left feeling as though we had been given the best safari experience possible. We highly recommend Gondwana for anyone looking to book a safari in South Africa.

Gondwana Game Reserve exceeded every expectation and was easily one of the highlights of our South Africa trip. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm and genuine. The reserve is stunningly beautiful, with vast landscapes, dramatic mountain backdrops and an incredible sense of tranquillity. The accommodation was comfortable, thoughtfully designed and blended seamlessly into the natural surroundings. The game drives were exceptional. Our ranger, AJ, was knowledgeable, passionate and had an amazing eye for spotting wildlife. Seeing rhinos, lions, giraffes, zebras and numerous antelope species in their natural habitat was simply magical. Every drive felt different, with new sightings and fascinating insights into the ecosystem. What stood out most was the balance between conservation, education and guest experience. Gondwana never felt overcrowded, allowing for a more intimate and authentic safari experience. Watching the sunrise over the reserve and ending the day with spectacular African sunsets created memories that will stay with us for a lifetime. If you're looking for a safari experience that's accessible from the Garden Route while offering outstanding wildlife encounters, beautiful scenery and exceptional service, Gondwana is hard to beat. Its such a beautifull resort and the people are so nice and take so good care of you. Not to many people and delicious food! You have a wonderfull view at nature and even zebras visited us. At the safarie we saw a lot animals like lions , cheetah and elefants. With our wonderfull guid frans we had an amazing tour. Best guide!
