An experience beyond anything we have ever experienced At 56 years of age, we have been fortunate enough to experience some truly exceptional restaurants and hospitality around the world. But what we experienced at Tintswalo was something entirely different. A very special thank you to Tian, our waiter. He has a truly extraordinary talent: he can make you taste a dish simply by describing it. Before taking the very first bite, you can already imagine the flavours on your plate. In all our 56 years, we have never experienced anything quite like it. For us, Tian is without question the best waiter we have ever had the pleasure of being served by. And the food and wine? Absolutely exceptional. The quality of both the cuisine and the wines surpassed every Michelin-starred restaurant we have experienced so far. Every course was beautifully conceived, perfectly executed and full of flavour. A heartfelt thank you also to Michael, the General Manager, who went above and beyond to make our wedding anniversary so incredibly special. His personal attention and genuine warmth made the occasion even more memorable. And then there is the view over the ocean – simply breathtaking and the perfect backdrop to an already extraordinary experience. The combination of exceptional food, outstanding wines, Tian’s remarkable service and Michael’s personal touch puts Tintswalo on an entirely different level. Thank you to Michael, Tian and the entire team for an unforgettable experience. We will remember this one for a very, very long time. ❤️

Such a beautiful place to visit. If you are looking for a romantic place for anniversary or special occasion, this is it!!! The rooms are beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. Each room has beautiful views. The pool deck area was beautiful and relaxing. We had the Chefs Warehouse set menu the one night and oh my word- that was such an amazing experience. Each dish was so beautiful and so tasteful. What a treat!! The breakfast and lunches etc was just ad amazing. The restaurant is beautiful with amazing views and we loved that we could see into the kitchen and say thank you yo the chef’s. Every person working there made us feel like VIP’s, they were helpful and always friendly!! Patric was amazing. They were so happy to drive us to and from the Chapmans Peak hike we went on. The hike is a must do. It is not very easy but so worth it. Take enough water!!! And proper hiking boots and walking stick will be helpful.

We are a little late in leaving our review and would like to apologize for that. This restaurant truly impressed all four of us — with its beautiful location, excellent food, and above all the exceptionally attentive, thoughtful, and friendly service. We would especially like to mention Viktor, who was leading the team with great calm and empathy. One of my friends was not feeling well that lunch, and he reacted with remarkable consideration and professionalism. Alongside him was Michael, who was equally attentive and very supportive, helping my friend find some quiet and comfort. When staff members go far beyond their usual duties to care for guests in such a genuine and compassionate way, it cannot be praised highly enough. We have already been here twice, and we will certainly return. Many thanks to the entire team!!! K SP

I had a fantastic lunch here...absolutely amazing food. Definitely Michelin star standard! The team catered for all of my Allergies perfectly. Thanks also to Elvis for his very friendly service...we will be back!!!
