A serene and unforgettable experience. Truly wonderful setting for which the pictures simply don't do justice. The cottage has everything & everything else is taken care of immediately & thoughtfully. Karoo luxury and relaxation at its finest!

We stayed in this lovely cottage for a weekend, and as you drive in you immediately start relaxing! Such a great view for the morning coffee and a Braai on the stoep. A great farm breakaway on your own or with kids. Highly recommended

Zuikerboschfontein was a destination of choice for me as it is an organic farm, which appeals to my life values. Nestled between mountains and far from any bright lights, it offers peace and respite. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and well appointed. I had pre ordered some sourdough bread, baked by Martinette’s son, and this was waiting for me. It was really delicious! Being on my own for the stay, I was very pleased that the cottage has wifi, so that I had contact with my family. My dog was with me and we enjoyed lots of wonderful walks together. I can recommend Zuikerboschfontein as a lovely retreat. I really enjoyed my stay.

Had the blessed opportunity to experience this mystic space of Beauty and Serenity while on a work road trip. The cottage we stayed in was well equipped with all the comforts of home and our hostess with her beautiful children gave us the warmest welcome. I felt safe and secure surrounded by the Karoo shrubs and mountains. I look forward to visiting this gem again - Far from the maddening Crowds.
