About Thali Thali Game Lodge

Thali Thali is a 1460 hectare Cape West Coast game and fynbos reserve situated just of the R27 near Langebaan, less than one hour's drive from Cape Town, bordering the West Coast National Park.

The Cape West Coast is intoxicating, sure the wind heaves and thumps for much of the year, but the Langebaan area with its beautiful lagoon has a charm that keeps people coming back year after year. Privately owned Thali Thali Game Reserve and lodge can accommodate up to 20 people and offers an ideal laid-back West Coast style atmosphere. We boast a wide range of game like kudu, oryx, giraffe, red hartebeest, eland, zebra, springbok, black wildebeest, duiker, bontebok, steenbok, etc. The reserve is also home to many different bird species and guests are welcome to enjoy a walk in the fynbos to view these creatures. What to expect at the lodge/reserve - Malaria-free area - Safari / bush walks by arrangement The accommodation at Thali Thali consists of eight B&B or self catering units and were designed to create a unit with the old homestead. The eight units consist of three West Coast style chalets and five glamping tents which are spread out in a circle around an entertainment area with bar facilitie

We had an amazing game drive! Two members of the team joined us and explained everything about the farm and the animals in a very engaging way. Seeing the animals up close was an unforgettable experience. Afterwards, we stayed for lunch – absolutely delicious. Even if you don’t book a game drive, it’s well worth coming just for the food. All in all, it was a fantastic day.

A beautiful respite, situated just a few kilometers outside of central Langebaan, Thali Thali Game Lodge is a truly stunning and unforgettable. My wife and I were there last month, and what an experience it was indeed! From the truly personalized and incredible service, to getting to experience our first Big Game Drive - this experience is one we will not forget. Exciting, insightful and amazing, all rolled into one special day. Thanks so much Thali Thali, we will definately be back again soon!

We had a lovely stay here. The accommodation was clean and well equipped ( we stayed in one of the chalets), the highlights were the game drive and the amazing food in the restaurant. A special mention to our wonderful hosts Aneika and Delano, who made us feel so welcome and at home and were so knowledgeable about the animals and local area.

We had the most amazing two night stay. The staff was sooooooo friendly. The food at the lodge is delicious and not expensive. The setting is so calming and peaceful. Take some carrots with to feed to the bok that come right up to your accommodation. They are so cute! We will be back for sure.
