Very nice show. Horses, cattle, sheep, goats and all kinds of poultry. Lots of agricultural displays and variety of stalls

First experience at this show Some stalls overcharging on food items ,walk around the corner and pay half 😋 at another stall. Atmosphere was a bit dull mostly because it was vrek cold . But then serving hot drinks and doughnuts would have livened everything up and not be such a money driven stall ethicet . I wasn't sure if I could touch or climb into any of the farming vehicles on display so just a note to encourage folk coming to spend lots of money to try the farming tractor seats out if they are there for that purpose. Alcohol tent was drab . The kiddies show was meant for the 1 st row and never bothered about anyone else in the audience. Lots to sharpen up on in terms of marketing your event. If a friend of mine didn't mention this event last week we would never even have known about it. I can't recall 1 pamphlet or poster in Piketberg or Citrusdal that showcased this event. Will I return ... yes for sure. Entertainment is quite limited in these parts so make the most of every event with every rand spent 😉

Good day trip for city kids. Opened a new world and possible future job opportunities for many of them that they didn't knew existed. Maybe an interactive space next year where kids can interact with some the animals under supervision? Maybe bigger cages for the really big chickens and geese etc in that department?
