We felt like we were in Italy. Food made with love and the owners went our of their way to accommodate us. Intimate setting. Wholesome food with unpretentious loving atmosphere. Kid friendly and even well behaved dogs seemed to be welcome if you sit in the courtyard outside. Thank you. We will be back.

Food was surprisingly good and well plated and handled my allergies brilliantly. Super 😄. Lovely fireplace in the dining area for cold and rainy weather. Friendly staff. Suite was very spacious and nice. However, very noisy with restaurant just downstairs and stuff falling on the roof during the night from the trees. This outweighed all the good stuff about the place unfortunately. A good nights sleep is unfortunately not negotiable.

Absolute 10/10 experience. As someone who enjoys going to restaurants solo, great service is a must to make the experience comfortable and enjoyable. Ray-Jo was a wonderful server, she was bubbly, inviting and offered great suggestions. The food was well worth the price, I would in fact say, under priced for the portion and quality. The environment is calming, peaceful and serene. I will advise that it is not necessarily an environment for kids, but more for the individuals and groups looking for a quiet restaurant to enjoy the sounds of nature, with high quality food. I will certainly be back!

Whilst visiting the lovely little town of Riebeek Kasteel, we had one of the best meals that we have had for a very long time at Café Felix. There was a number of dishes on the menu that made it very hard to choose from, but we opted in the end for the lamb shank and the pork belly and my husband was still cooing about it hours later. It was on par with meals we have had at vinyard restaurants in Franschhoek. The owner was very friendly and and attentive and the waiting staff were lovely and friendly too. Café Felix will now definitely be our go to when visiting Riebeek. Good value for money for extremely good food.
