Overall a very lovely experience. We would definitely stay there next time we're in town for a wedding. There's certain elements that are a bit neglected: mismatched lightbulbs, random holes in the ceilings, stained carpets, bad coffee in the rooms. Overall it doesn't detract substantially from the overall experience, but I think with a few small changes and a bit of better upkeep, it would be nicer. You get the impression that at one point, it was a very nice hotel, and now echoes of foregone days.

My wife and I stayed over for one night. This is a fantastic venue from the former glory days. I found that the establishment is in dire need of serious maintenance. We stayed over in room number 1 and found it spacious and comfortable. The mattress on the double bed was in a terrible state and we had a very uncomfortable rest. Kindly replace it because it is not SERVICEABLE! We were told breakfast is not available and we must try Panera bakery which was a terrible venue with below par food servings. The pictures on your website does not match what we found onsite. The garden is seriously overgrown and neglected. Next time I would rather spend more money and stay over at the Royal Hotel in Riebeek Kasteel.

A big thank you to all the staff at Riebeek Valley Hotel for making my partner and I feel so at home during our 2-day stay. I absolutely loved the space ! If you’re looking for a place that offers a true “home away from home” feel with beautiful old-world charm and character, this is it. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and I enjoyed strolling through the lovely garden . Such a peaceful place! We’ll definitely be visiting Riebeek Valley Hotel again!
