The accommodation and farm is stunning with breathtaking views and great attention to detail. The staff was very loving and caring. A special thanks to Linda who took us out on her horses, who are well trained and extremely well taken care of. During the ride we were taken away by the wonderful landscape and even saw a bosbok. The pool is also beautiful with amazing views! Overall an absolute gem in the Western Cape and a must visit.

The lodges were huge and cozy, the kitchen was completely stacked with everything you need to prepare yourself a dinner (oven, stove, even an airfryer). The view was breathtaking. Sitting on the balcony drinking a coffee and waiting for the day to begin! The horse ride was amazing even though some of us had no experience. The pool was great too. Paradise Found I spent a night at Oudebosch Guest Farm, and what a special stay it was. In the charming little farm cottage Grysbok, I was treated to fresh bread and the best fire I have ever experienced — no exaggeration. I lit a single match and whoosh — it burned beautifully all night long. Sari, you deserve applause for that. In the afternoon, I wandered across the farm, where bontebok, hartebeest, eland, and springbok roam freely. I also took a plunge in the crystal-clear swimming pool while soaking up the magnificent mountain views. But the highlight came the next morning, when I went on a ride with host and guide Linda. I rode the wonderfully dependable Boerperd Pepper, and we meandered over the hills towards the dam with not another person in sight. Instead, we were rewarded with the sight of a secretary bird soaring gracefully overhead. What an extraordinary hidden gem in the mountains of Riversdale’s countryside. An absolute must for anyone who loves horse riding — and honestly, for everyone else too.

We had a lovely stay at Linda’s and Peter’s Farm! The cottages are beautiful. Extraordinary is the private game reserve where you can just walk around with springboks and other animals. The highlight of the stay was the morning horse riding with Linda. Victor is an amazing horse and I had my first horse riding experience which was beautiful. All in all 100% recommend staying here.
