This was our second visit to Broadlands Manor. It's a great location for anyone wanting to visit the Winelands or traveling to or from the Garden Route, as it is just below Sir Lowry's Pass. Less than an hour from Cape Town International Airport. Welcoming and warm hosts. Comfortable and elegant guest rooms in a lovely setting with pool and beautiful grounds. We will definitely stay there again.

My husband and I needed a quick break from the city so we booked a one-night stay at Broadlands Manor 1711 and we were not disappointed! Immediately upon arrival, we were greeted by Willie and his sons, who showed us the property and our beautiful room, which Willie upgraded. It was such an absolute treat to have a bigger room with a lovely view of the estate and ocean. All the amenities in the room were wonderful- from the comfortable bed, soft linen, towels and hot shower. Even small touches like having lavender in the room really elevated the experience. There are many quiet places to relax around the manor to just read a book and unwind, like the pool area and indoor lounge. We took a dip in the outdoor jacuzzi which was a lovely way to end a beautiful day. Willie prepared the most delicious dinner for us served with a glass of wine. We loved that we did not have to leave the Manor at all. The Manor is extremely quiet, and we could not hear guests at all during the night and had a very solid night's rest. The next morning, we were served the most delicious eggs benedict made with free-range eggs straight from the estate! It was also served with some freshly squeezed orange juice with fresh fruit and yogurt. Check-out was at 11am which meant that we did not have to rush after breakfast. Overall, we had such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. My husband and I will definitely be coming back frequently for our one-nighters and also gifting family and friends with a stay.

I organised my mother’s birthday party at Broadlands Manor — and it was nothing short of amazing! The venue is absolutely stunning, with countless picturesque spots that made for beautiful moments and even more beautiful photos. From the lush garden and sparkling pool to the charming antique-style interiors and unique artwork, everything came together to create a magical atmosphere. Emmanuel, the chef, prepared top-class meals that were simply unforgettable — everything was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The waitstaff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, and of course, Willie, the host, was a gem in every sense of the word. He played such a big role in making sure everything ran smoothly and went out of his way to assist in so many thoughtful ways. Planning the event from Joburg, I had numerous calls with Willie, the owner, who was incredibly helpful, kind, and always available to answer my questions. When we visited ahead of the event, Willie personally took us through the property and even offered helpful suggestions to elevate the celebration. I highly recommend Broadlands Manor 1711 — both the venue and the wonderful team behind it. It was an unforgettable experience, and I’m so grateful we chose this special place to celebrate such a meaningful day.

We highly recommended this beautiful old Manor. Michele and Willie were such great host and we felt very welcomed. Check-in and communication was very easy and we extended our stay. The breakfast was delicious with fresh orange juice and different style of eggs every day and one of the best once we had in a long time! The pool area is lovley and the whole property is very well looked after with an interesting history of the Manor. The spot is also ideal for daytrips in the vineyard. We would definitely come back!
