Our stay at Asara Wine Estate was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty of the estate. It is truly one of the most stunning places in Stellenbosch, with impeccably maintained grounds and an atmosphere of pure tranquillity. The accommodation itself was beautiful, and the view from our room was absolutely spectacular waking up to the vineyards every moment feel special. The pool area was equally lovely, providing the perfect setting to relax and unwind while soaking in the peaceful surroundings. We can highly recommend the wine tasting experience, which was outstanding in both quality and presentation. A special mention goes to Asive, who delivered an excellent tasting experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic, sharing her passion for the wines and guiding us expertly through the selection. The restaurant was equally impressive, offering delicious, beautifully prepared dishes complemented by excellent service. Each breakfast was a pleasure thanks to Fezeka, whose warm and attentive service made our mornings even more enjoyable. Overall, our time at Asara Wine Estate exceeded all expectations. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in the heart of the Cape Winelands.

We stayed one night here last minute, as our flight out of Cape Town was cancelled. The scenery and settings are stunning! Our room was massive and really lovely. The pool area is great and we had dinner with a stunning view over the mountains. Thanks for looking after us!

My stay at Asara Wine Estate & Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the experience felt luxurious yet warmly welcoming. The rooms were beautifully designed—spacious, elegant, and incredibly comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully considered to create a truly relaxing atmosphere. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the wine tasting. Led by Calvin Coetzee, it was easily the highlight of my stay. His depth of knowledge about the estate’s wines was impressive, but what stood out even more was his ability to guide the tasting with such professionalism and ease. He explained each wine with clarity, shared insights into the winemaking process, and demonstrated impeccable etiquette throughout—making the entire experience both educational and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury accommodation with a refined and memorable wine experience, Asara is truly a standout. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.
