We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Weltevreden New Guest Cottages! From the moment we arrived at the security gate, through to being welcomed at the car park and reception, the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. A special thank you to Porchia for guiding us through a fantastic wine pairing experience – it was a highlight of our trip. And thank you to management, Melissa and Libby, for making us feel so warmly welcomed throughout our stay. The setting is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. The wine and nibbles was lovely. Easy drinking wines. Tranquil setting. Friendly staff. The burger and the rib-eye steak were not good. The steak was grey and cooked unevenly. As for the burger, perhaps not the best in town... The risotto was delicious.

This estate is truly exceptional in every way. Situated not far from Stellenbosch it is a perfect location. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, featuring a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options that catered to all tastes. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff—every team member went above and beyond to ensure a perfect experience. Everything was flawless; I can absolutely recommend this hotel and I would go back there.

It was a real pleasure to stay at the Weltevreden Estate! First of all the service was outstanding and the Estate was beautiful and quiet. The Wine Tasting was a very good experience with some delicious nibles. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated and we really enjoyed the tasty breakfast on the terrace. We had a two week rosdtrip and this was by far our best accommodation!
