I've been travelling to Mthatha for about a year now and stayed in a few guest houses and had some not so pleasant experiences until a colleauge mentioned Ebony and woww where has this gem been hiding. The welcoming, the great meals, the outstanding service. The Manageress's attention to detail. Thank you for making my stay feel like home away from home. I highly reccomend this establishment.

The room is clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly and efficient. The restaurant also offers a wide range of options.

Room is slightly dated, wooden 4 post bed frames and old carpet but very spacious and clean. Everything you would need is provided and works well. Food is excellent and service at dinner is exceptional.

Staff are friendly and helpful, accommodation is great, rooms are clean, and spacious and secure. Meals are awesome and nicely presented and catered for all food preferences. Will definitely stay at the Lodge. Thanks to all staff for making our stay comfortable.
