What a wonderful spot! Leonie and her team were excellent. The Luxury family tents were exceptionally comfortable and we totally managed to disconnect and switch off! The most comfortable bed ever!!! Jana and Devon were excellent rangers who reallybmade our trip special. They were great with our daughter's and the overall trekking with Giraffes was stunning. Walking back to your tent at night after dinner and walking past zebra and giraffes at the small watering hole was such a wow unexpected treat each night! Thank you Leonie and Team for a wonderful family break.

Totally whowed by our time here at Bellevue forest reserve…what animals and wildlife we saw, how our hosts treated us How the entire staff were so professional … from the catering to waiting to tour guides etc…it was all brilliant and we would love to return. Especially want to mention “Shaun” who made our experience at Bellevue extra special…his knowledge and personality bring an extra something to the table!

Overall we had a great stay and are really happy with the experience. The staff are lovely, the food is very good and we experienced a true South African Brai, and the place itself is beautiful - honestly much nicer than we expected. We'd give it a 4.5 stars of we could! The only downside was around communication on a few things. We tried to book a massage for Saturday and were told it would be fine, but when we showed up the masseuse was off. We then planned to do it Sunday morning before leaving, were again told “ok”, and ran into the same issue. We totally understand that things can change, so it wasn’t a huge deal for us, but it would definitely help to have clearer or more accurate communication around availability. The highlight for us was the game drive at Bellevue. Our ranger Nicolai was super fun and really knowledgeable, and made the whole experience unforgettable. If you’re choosing between Bellevue and Addo National Park, we’d definitely recommend Bellevue - it feels much more personal, whereas Addo is a bit more touristy. All in all, we’d definitely recommend staying at Bellevue and are really thankful for the experience.

We went to South Africa for the first time earlier this month and we were very lucky that the tour company we travelled with from Australia, booked us in to Bellevue for the safari component of the tour. We had an amazing experience in beautiful South Africa in general, but the trip was made extra special by the people we encountered along the way. Thank you to the whole team a Bellevue who made us feel right at home from the get go and really did look after us and helped us create some special memories that we will never forget. The accommodation was very comfortable, the scenery was beautiful and the giraffes coming up around the tents to get a drink in the mornings and afternoons was something truly magical. Special thank you to Leonie, Jana, Mandy & Lindwe for your hospitality and care and Jana for some great game drives. We cannot thank you enough and hope to see you all again one day.
