I recently stayed at the MyPond Hotel in Port Alfred and it was a really cozy little spot with all the amenities you could need. They serve a lovely breakfast, which was definitely a highlight of my morning there. The hotel is right next to a canal, which gives it this really charming, attractive vibe. there's an Ocean Basket restaurant literally on-site, so you can just walk right over from your room and grab a great meal. Plus, it’s in a convenient location with shops and malls nearby, and the staff were super friendly. Overall, I had a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was a highlight, especially the delicious pastries. Our room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented. We also loved the coffee station — such a nice touch. The river views were absolutely stunning and made the stay even more relaxing. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely return!

My family visited MyPond on Sunday, 14 June, to celebrate my 50th birthday. We had a great experience, with friendly staff (Nangamso, Kristin and Luvuyo). We all felt at home, as the staff looked excited to have us there, and even remembered our names throughout our stay. The buffet lunch prepared was a real warm home cooked meal which we enjoyed. After reading some mixed reviews we were pleasantly surprised. Booked very last minute during the busy December holidays and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Booked a family room which was neat and spacious. Breakfast was also very nice.
