Everything at Oceana beach lodge was just spectacular. What a location - breathtaking views, ocean meeting the bush! Informative and scenic guided bush walks and drives, luxurious accomodation, gourmet meals and very caring service. Photos don't provide a true depiction. A must visit.

Oceana was the only horseback safari venue I could find in the Port Elizabeth area, that welcomed day visitors. We chose the 2 hour wildlife ride. Our guides, Nikita, Lucky & Wietske were perfect. Our horses beautiful. We had walks, trots & canters. It was very hilly, but beautiful and there are many waterspots for the horses to cool down during the ride. We saw Nyala's, Ostrich, Bontebok, Blou Wildebeest, Zebra, etc. If love horseback rides, are fit and of reasonable weight, I can highly recommend.

We had an amazing experience celebrating our wedding anniversary at Oceana. The service was top class, highly efficient and very professional. The food was excellently cooked and presented to perfection. Game drive in the afternoon was exhilarating, informative and very professional. The staff was remarkable. Our overall experience was unforgettable.

We visited Oceana a while back on my birthday and it is really heaven on earth. Oh my! This place is majestic. Seeing the beautiful sunrise every morning made me emotional and grateful for being able to witness this beautiful creation. I loved the two bathrooms, one with the shower and the other with a bathtub. Having a view of the ocean while taking a shower was highlight, we could also have the shower door open to the outside and have a feel as if it's an outdoor shower. The food was just mouth watering from breakfast, lunch, to dinner. The chefs really outdid themselves. The lunch was two course and the dinner was a three course. I loved the sorbet (palate cleanser) between meals because I could enjoy each course without the after taste of the previous one. We had a choice of having breakfast in our room which was great. We could choose to have it in the room or on the patio. We chose the latter as it was a bit chilly. We also had a beach picnic and a game drive. I've seen that they've made some renovations, and I can't wait to go back.
