This was our second wedding here.What a disappointment rooms are falling apart gardens by rooms are disgusting staff stole our spitbraai.drink with our silver dishes. Staff unwilling to open hall on the Sunday so that we could collect our possessions. Ground road to venue is undriveable. one would think that having a wedding there they would repair road.I would rethink using this venue.If management just reads all previous posts and concerns one would think they would pay attention to what people are saying.

We stayed for the weekend, to be honest, this was a disgrace! Nothing in a working condition, toilet leaks when you flush, floor always underwater, no hot water from Saturday onwards, TV not working, the braai area that we asked about beforehand was a undercover parking area with big rocks as flooring, difficult to walk on, and a portable braai still full of ash! The door of the dustbin in the kitchen cannot close and there is only a small bedroom dustbin in it, your rubble is everywhere but in the dustbin. The bathroom dustbins inners are missing. Only one of the smallest sauce pot to cook with, no other pots, no dishup bowls, no basics to prepare food, it's a self catering unit. No dish cloths, no toilet paper. The worst of all was the owners irritation and arrogance and unwillingness to help. Staff tried their best. The response was, " if you not happy come get your money and go to another place" A very unpleasant weekend!

Stayed at A lodge for a single night. Made to wait 15 mins at gate before it was opened for me. For R900.00/night you would expext better. The following was observed 1. Serious cracks in corner of units caused by movement of structure 2. A lot of mould on wall showing damp in wall 3. Skirting boards not fixed to wall or around column. 4. Glass roof cover of shower is cracked. Staff was friendly.

We did not receive the correct accommodation as was pre-arranged for 4 double rooms to sleep the 4 families in their own rooms - instead we got ushered into 2 family rooms where the adult boys had to sleep on army style bunkers / stacker beds in the same space as the double bed. This is not what we paid for!. Reception was rude and abrupt.
