The bedsheets are wet on the bed The room doesnt have a kettle The rooms doesnt have bankets for cold nights This is the worst place to book I wouldnt recomend it to anybody Way over priced for the rooms

Beautiful place for wedding or function not too far out of Bloemfontein.

We have just spent a night at Goose Hill and can absolutely recommend it. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We ordered supper and it was delicious. We will definitely be back. Thank you Freda.

Beautiful venue, proper food and decent service. Accommodation was a disaster. Asked Monique what time can we check is as we're 6 hours away. She informed as that anytime after 10 would suffice and the room will be ready. We arrived at 12:30 to find the room not ready. She asked the guys to get the room ready so only then did they start carrying furniture to the room.. 13:15 I informed them that they have 10 minutes tonget the room ready and call Monique as I wanted to talk to her. I asked her for the owners number and she still hasn't sent it. We wanted to have an afternoon nap after the long drive and before the wedding and that couldn't happen. There is no fans in the room, there is no aircon in the room and no fridge. We brought cold drinks for the fridge only to find there is no fridge. Monique then brought us a couple of standing fans which helped, but for the amount we paid we atleast expected a fridge and an AC. After the wedding we found out there is no hot water so had to take a cold shower and then I went to check outside and the Geyser was not switched on, so I switched it on and we had hot water the morning after. The double bed in the room is horrible and should be thrown out at a dumping site ASAP. Hopefully they will go and check after reading this review because I'm sure if they keep that bed the will get horrible reviews on the future. The one bath towel also has a hole in it and should be replaced. I will not recommend the venue at all even though it was beautiful. The accommodation will put of guests and I would like even from my wedding to have a pleasant experience and they did not provide. Monique also knew how many people would attend the wedding and she was supposed to have known that there would not be enough seats for everyone at the bush chapel. They had to then make a plan for extra seats at the last minute and some people had to to still stand throughout the whole ceremony but luckily everything from there went smoothly.
