Nothing in my room was working. Not the wifi, not the electric blanket or the room phone. When I complained I was ask if I want to move and base on emnities in my room I agreed. While this is being sorted the receptionist come back and advise that the air-conditioning in the new room not working. I was so tired I just laughed and returned to my original room. How much worst can it get right. Driving 4 hours from jhb to this I don't know how this people are still in business. What a joke.

1 star - The Worst Ilanga Estate Worst experience ever, they refuse to pay back my money. I will never book with Ilanga Estate again. This place is completely unprofessional and dishonest. I paid for a booking in advance for my partner, and when she arrived, they made her pay again saying my payment wasn’t reflecting. I sent them clear proof of payment showing we double paid for the same booking, and they have been giving me excuses for four months now. Every time I follow up, they tell me the refund is with their finance department, but nothing ever happens. It’s obvious they don’t care about their customers and have no integrity. Keeping someone’s money for months after admitting to a mistake is unacceptable. Be warned, if you book here, you might end up fighting for your money like I am.

Hosting a DJ-event on a Sunday and Monday evening. Do not care to play loud music until 2am on Monday morning. Music is so loud that it sounds like it's coming from my next door neighbour. Poor taste!! Inconsiderate. Had to drive there to ask what time the event hosted now on a Monday evening / Tuesday morning will end. It is now Tuesday 1am and no end is in sight!

What a rip off! The rooms were dirty, the entire place had an unpleasant smell, can't comment on the breakfast, didn't try it, the tables in the dinning room were all dirty, no utensils were left, no cups for coffee. These people need to lose all those stars. It was a terrible experience 😭
