Village Lodge Harrismith was peaceful. Check-in was seamless, and the location was very easy to find using Google Maps. Security is excellent, with a controlled gate system that guests can operate themselves, which gave peace of mind. Housekeeping was outstanding, rooms were cleaned twice during my stay, with fresh sheets provided, keeping everything spotless and comfortable. That said, there’s room for improvement in guest orientation on arrival, as first-time visitors may need clearer guidance. The checkout process could also be streamlined to make departure smoother. Overall, a pleasant and secure stay with great attention to cleanliness.

Had a pleasure of staying at this hotel while traveling to JHB. Overall I'd say it was a good place just to crash for the night. Only downside was the lukewarm shower that I had the next morning but hey atleast I could shower so not complaining. Place is very near to Bergview.

Great reception. Place easy to find, Rooms are crammed up, rather too small. We were given dirty and stinky towels. DSTV didn't work during our two day stay, even after reporting the issue.
