This was by far one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had at Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre. From the moment I was picked up at the airport and transported to the hotel, everything exceeded my expectations. The reception staff were warm, professional, and welcoming. One of the things I experienced for the first time was the hotel's convenient shuttle service within the property. At any time, you could request transportation from your room to the reception area, dining facilities, or any other location within the hotel grounds, making movement around the resort effortless. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a wide variety of stunning plant species, impressive buildings, and well-equipped conference facilities. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to assist. The dining experience was outstanding. There was a great selection of food, including delicious African cuisine as well as a variety of international dishes, ensuring that there was something for everyone. The hotel rooms were comfortable, the beds were excellent, and every aspect of my stay contributed to an unforgettable experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre and cannot wait to return in the future. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable.

I was there from Tuesday till Friday morning. Our blankets were not smelling nice. My duvet cover was not clipable. It was open, the duvet inner was coming out. We used a room with 2 single beds, but they will put 1soap, 1 lotion and 1 body wash. But we were 2 in the room. Our bin was not cleaned the one in the bathroom. The table was not dusted, it had some dry rices. The bathroom tap was not cleaned. Same menu for breakfast buffet. Seafood is not ayoba, they should get a Chef that can specialise with sea food. But otherwise was not too bad

For a Google review, keep it concise: The venue is nice and has good facilities. However, I would not recommend it for a large conference with exhibition stands, as the distance between the session rooms and exhibition area is quite inconvenient for delegates. I also think the menu needs to be reviewed, as the food is no longer as appetising as it used to be. Overall, a pleasant venue, but there is room for improvement.

I recently stayed at Birchwood Hotel while attending a workshop. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and the venue works very well for conferences and professional events. The hotel facilities are well suited for workshops and meetings, and my room was spacious, clean, and comfortable after long days of sessions. During my stay there were a few minor room-related issues, and one evening my passkey stopped working when I returned to my room. However, the staff assisted quickly and resolved the problem without much delay, which I appreciated. The food options at dinner and breakfast were good, and the atmosphere at the hotel is calm and professional. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a good venue for conferences and work-related travel.
