The event was spectacular, happily decorated, beautiful and completely magical. Staff were pleasant, but pushing the spirits on the guests at the tables. The venue is old and tatty. Its more like a gymnhall than wedding venue. We were told event was over at 10pm (we'd arranged 11pm) No way we gave into that. Toilets were disgusting with urine on the floor, and no toilet paper or hand towels. All of this was overshadowed by a loving, magical union of two beautiful souls. But shame on you Killarney Coutry club - been before for weddings years ago, and I could never recommend you now again if this is the quality of the show you put on. It is a beautiful setting and possibly part of the problem was our wedding coordinator on the night. Centrally situated with lots of secure, guard protected parking. Well maintained gardens. Not sure what the future plans are for the KCC, but hoping an upgrade of the actual facility and better service and longevity is part of it.

Went for the new Parkrun and had a breakfast wrap and cappuccino after at the little restaurant on the golf course. Lovely grounds with swans, ideal for nature pics.

Well manicured course with reasonable green/guest fees. Quick service at halfway and 19th hole. Enjoyed the brewed coffee on tap.

Attended a 3 day Mind Power conference here and did a firewalk as part of the program. Would be great to have healthier meal options. Venue was comfortable. Car wash services were handy. Lovely setting looking out over golf course and seeing swans on the pond. Was a bit surprised to have to pay for a cup of tea or coffee. Don't mind paying for a cuppaccino but when you are there for 3 days and basic tea and coffee is not included at a venue like this I am surprised.
