Wow...is an understatement. Raquel went out of her way to make our mother's 60th birthday party extra special. From the entrance, to the photo booth, to the welcome area, the bar, the actual banquet hall... breathtakingly beautiful! The staff were all young, vibrant and jovial throughout! Thank you for giving my mom a party fit for a queen! I will definitely be back!

Rugged Rose is second-to-none when it comes to the marriage of quality and affordability! It is a lovely boutique venue situated in Klopperpark, Germiston, conveniently close to O.R. Tambo International airport. As you enter the space you can't help but feel warm and safe. There's a certain magic in the air at Rugged Rose and as you breath it in you get a sense that whatever journey you are about to embark on at the venue will be nothing short of a beautiful success. Rugged Rose opened up in 2020, primarily as a wedding venue, and has since grown to offer other services such as Birthdays, Bridal showers, Corporate Meetings, Private Parties - the lot! The venue is run and managed by the owner Racquel and she is absolutely incredible! Her professionalism is outstanding and she is always extremely accommodating in getting her clients what they may need to make their event spectacular. I've had the pleasure of being the MC at a few weddings at Rugged Rose and, to be honest, I look forward to going there every single time! If you have a tight budget but still want your event to be memorable, there is no better place than Rugged Rose - Superb!

What is advertised as budget friendly is just kind wording - the venue is packed with quality items which mix elegance and rustic romance effortlessly. So much more than a budget friendly option - this wedding/function venue is elegance personified!

When we lost our original wedding planner at the last minute, Raquel came in and was so professional, insightful, patient and helpful and absolutely saved us and our wedding and made it the perfect night, putting out fires we didn’t know even existed. Most unbelievable wedding planner ever.
