About Stone House Gardens

A classic countryside-style stone farm-style house situated on pristine sprawling lawns overlooking the Modderfontein Nature Reserve.

Contact us to build your perfect hosting package - we cater for weddings and private functions with our own in-house event planner to craft an experience to your needs.  The Stone House building is a heritage building with original historic features and and architecture, this one of a kind building features a bar, dining area, bridal suite, and fully equipped commercial kitchen. On the patio is a seating area, lawn, and pristine gardens.

We hiked here, and it's a very nice hiking trail. There's also a mountain bike course as well. Do go early as the ticket lines get busy, and the last stretch of the hike is mostly in the sun. If you buy a hiking ticket, then you get entrance into the Farmers market as well (I think it applies to all other activities, but please enquire as I am not 100% sure). There's also a lovely picnic spot that we saw while on our hike. Overall, this place is very well kept, and it's a great day out for friends or families.

Beautiful paths to walk and explore with the reward of a cooling coffee milkshake at Arte Gelato. 😃🥾🥾✨🧋

Farmers market is a great vibe for couples and families. Food stores galore! Limited seating, expect muddy grass and live chickens lol. But a great outing to explore. Alcohol and music, there is an entrance fee too.
