If you gonna charge almost R400 per person sharing a cart for a round of golf, the golf course needs to be upgraded in quite a few places to make the player feel he got his money worth and come back; for example: how about some paved cart paths? The greens need to be maintained and kept better, some new flags for the holes, current one are faded and old, the tee boxes as well, better signage at tee box with info regarding to distances etc. Maybe some nicer tee box markers, also some better signage indicating where the next hole is, then the carts, like at least buy new ducks tape to replace the current worn out patch jobs on the carts... I'd recommend playing late afternoon, catching the sunset on the last 2 holes, the views are actually quite magical...almost worth the R400

Thanks to Lance and co thus far. We shall be playing a round soon. I actually want to hide this gem of a private course, purely due to it being the most family welcoming course. Perfect for dad, mom and kiddos to enjoy the front 9 (of which all are par 3) Back nine allows for the longer hitters to square their weakness (short game) on four par 4's. The other 5 holes are wedge-able par 3's.

We had an enjoyable weekend at Sun Valley, celebrating Monique's matric farewell and some family time together. Lovely, well maintained gardens and swimming pools and friendly hosts and staff.

Done that, got the tee shirt. Thank you it is done. Friendly personal, course quiet at first but then, all of a sudden it got very full very quickly. First 9 was waterlogged, a lot of slip and sliding, sloshing through the fairways to approach greens, fairway lawn long, possibly due to all the water. Second 9 a bit better and dryer when playing away from clubhouse. They could also make an effort to add some direction boards to find next teebox, very confusing for first timer. Also very expensive for a 2 ball and cart for this marshie course.
