This is truly a hidden gem. The views are second to none, with probably the best views of any restaurant in Johannesburg. The food was also fantastic. Well plated and tasted delicious. I had the duo pork starter and the beef mignon for mains and I can say it was cooked to perfection. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The setting was quaint with lovely ambient music which gave it a romantic mood. Loved it and would highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning experience! I visited _NorthCliff Boutique Hotel_ yesterday and it was honestly one of the best stays I’ve had. The location on top of the mountain means the views are breathtaking — especially at sunset. If you’re celebrating an occasion or just want to get away, this is the place to do it. The staff were incredible: neat, clean, humble and so attentive. They really take care of their guests. Loved the VIP car service too — they meet you at the parking area and drop you right at reception. Such a classy touch. The food quality was excellent and the whole place feels chic, clean and peaceful. It was truly a beautiful experience and I enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend! 5 stars ⭐

Had high tea with a guest last Friday. The food itself tasty - thank you for that. However, several issues affected the experience: 1. Long wait: Our food took almost an hour to arrive. I had to check at the counter. For a high tea booking, the delay was much longer than expected. 2. Wrong item: We were served trout, but it was presented as salmon. When I asked staff to confirm, I was assured it was salmon. As someone who regularly eats sashimi, clearly I don't know the difference in taste and smell.... 3. Portions: We were meant to get 10 savoury + 10 sweet items each. Savoury was correct, but the sweet selection was short of 10 each. After raising this, the manager responded, saying only 5 items are served for high tea, and insisted it was 100% salmon served, not trout. I am sharing this because I want the experience to match the price + advertising. SPECTACULAR VIEWS, beautiful venue, high tea- give it a miss....

Had the most amazing dinner date with my sister! From the moment we arrived, everything was just perfect. The service was absolutely beautiful, our waitress was so lovely, even helping us take so many stunning photos (and she’s actually really good at it too!). The ambience is gorgeous, such a perfect setting to relax and enjoy the evening. The food? Delicious, flavorful, and generously portioned, definitely great value for money. And the views… honestly, to die for. Such a memorable experience overall. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, great vibes, and exceptional service!
