We had an absolutely incredible experience at Gecko Ridge, and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the very beginning, Jordin was an outstanding coordinator professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life. She went above and beyond at every stage, ensuring that everything unfolded exactly as we had imagined, all while remaining thoughtful and transparent about our budget. The food deserves special mention it was nothing short of exceptional. Every meal was beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and consistently impressed our guests. The entire team at Gecko Ridge was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay. From planning to execution, everything was carried out seamlessly and with great care. Every detail reflected our discussions, and the final result exceeded our expectations. We had a ring blessing ceremony at Gecko Ridge. From the moment we went to view the venue, we fell in love with it. Cocktail and venue On the day of the event, we had beautiful table set outside to welcome our guests. The venue set up, was the best. The coordinator, Jordan Jackson made sure that all went well. Sound and lightning Excellent sound and lightning, we had not even one issue in this area. Parking and ablution facilities There is safe parking next to venue. The toilets are clean and inviting. Food The starter was plated and absolutely beautiful and tastey. Main menu was edible, but there is lots of room for improvement. Desert looked beautiful. You must just have sweet tooth.

From start to finish, our experience at Gecko Ridge was absolutely magical, and a huge part of that is thanks to Jordin, our incredible wedding coordinator. She went above and beyond in every possible way and took care of the smallest details even things I didn’t even think of as a bride. She kept an eye on the smallest details, right down to laminating our self-made, table numbers when my husband noticed the paper was folding over. Nothing was ever too much trouble. She also guided our MC through the full timeline on the day, which meant everything ran smoothly and seamlessly without us having to worry about a thing. The flowers were absolutely perfect and exactly what we had discussed during our three pre-wedding consultations. Jordin didn’t just stop there, she even kept track of my daily WhatsApp inspiration photos (basically my Pinterest board 😄) and made sure all those ideas were thoughtfully incorporated. The food was excellent. She made sure that we, as the wedding couple, had full plates and got to taste everything from the various meat options straight to the pumpkin fritters. We also had vegan guests, and they were catered for so thoughtfully. Various options were discussed during our pre-meetings so they could choose exactly what they wanted from the menu, which made them feel special and included. Despite us not always being in Pretoria, Jordin always made a plan to accommodate us. She squeezed in, in- person meetings even if it was just for an hour on days we were available. I did not worry about a single thing on our wedding day. The venue was decorated like something out of a fairytale. It was beyond anything I could have imagined. To top it all off, Jordin even packed away leftover dessert cups and wedding cake, storing them in the fridge to spoil us and our guests who stayed over with dessert again, after our full-house breakfast the next morning. Our flowers were so beautiful, and nothing went to waste. Since we couldn’t take all the fresh centerpiece flowers with us due to our honeymoon, Jordin created stunning bouquets for all the moms and bridesmaids so everyone could take fresh flowers home. Affordable and effortless, to sum it up. Thank you, Gecko Ridge — and especially Jordin — for making our dream wedding come true. We will forever be grateful. #Beter_Beste_Beetge 31/10/2025

The Log Cabin was full of spiders and spider webs. Some fumigation needed before you book anyone again. Same with you path ways. Need some trimming and grass cutting. Road to the venue is not maintained. I felt sorry for the guests who went with their cars. Wedding venue is absolutely stunning and the food very nice 👌🏻
