Kleinkaap is a beautiful boutique hotel with charming Cape Dutch architecture and immaculately maintained gardens that create a peaceful, country-like atmosphere in the city. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the food. The breakfast featured excellent-quality, fresh produce, including farm-style butter and delicious home-baked bread. The attention to quality ingredients was evident in every meal and made for a memorable dining experience. The rooms and interiors are comfortable and clean, with an old-world charm. Overall, Kleinkaap offers a unique and relaxing experience, with exceptional food, beautiful surroundings, and plenty of character.

My wife and I had lunch here. We had snails for starters - very appetizing. My wife had the prawn and chorizo chowder. A bit spicy. I had the pork belly and it was well worth the price. For desert, I would recommend the apple and almond cake. It’s tasty with either coffee or tea. We were very impressed by the menu selection, the atmosphere was relaxing and we also got to see some of the vintage cars too on this property.

The staff will go out of their way to assist and are friendly! They work long hours but keep you happy with smiles and professionalism. Facilities are clean and a pleasure to enjoy their beautiful garden and water features!

Beautiful venue but the food really is terrible. Do not order the cauliflower brekkie pizza unless you feel like eating a charred, raw thick piece of cauliflower. Decided not to eat it cause it looks unappealing and was raw. Ordered on omelette as the description said ‘hearty omelette filled with sausage etc’ Omelette came, hardly any sausage or melted cheese. Onions were raw. Really disappointing experience as no one came over to apologise or take accountability except for waiter. Still had to settle the full bill too despite the issues we experienced.
