Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Service and Food – La Prena Guesthouse & Venue Dear Management, My name is Munisha Moosa. I visited La Prena Guesthouse & Venue today with five colleagues for an important business meeting. I travelled all the way from Waterkloof after your venue was highly recommended to me. Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with the overall experience and service received. The food was bland and served cold, and I was deeply concerned to find a hair in my meal, which I have documented with both photo and video evidence. In addition, the waiters did not introduce themselves and appeared unfriendly and unprofessional throughout our visit. What made the experience even more disappointing was the lack of proper customer service when attempting to address my concerns. My phone calls were not properly handled, and in one instance the call was ended abruptly, which left me feeling dismissed. This was a very important business meeting with high-level clients, and the standard of service I expected was not met in any way. Hosted my birthday with family and friends and it was and amazing experience. Will be taking my boys for their birthday soon cos the kids area is big and they wanted to go back. They have amazing areas for both kids and elders to book at a reasonable price. You can also book for sleep overs. Their restaurant food is also amazing. I love their wrap,pizza,ribs an wings. Its a wonderful place that looks like you are in another coutry

Excellent food and a versatile atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to set up a laptop and get some work done between appointments. It transforms into a great venue on Saturdays for watching sports on the big screen. Highly recommended

I'm very disappointed with the service we received. On the 15 November 2025 it was our wedding day,we booked for the charpel and paid for it for the whole day which means our plan was to do everything in the charpel for the day, right after our matrimonial it is more like the management were waiting for us to finish with the matrimonial. They came and blocked us on our way to take photos and told us that their boss said we must be moved from the charpel to another area because there are people coming and they'll be making a lot of noise because they are coming to celebrate a birthday,mind you the camera was rolling as we were moving they were also taking pictures and those mangers were aware of such,they just wanted to ruin our day. We refused to be moved because the charpel is what we viewed and agreed on. another thing is we made an agreement with the owner that we'll be having our own catering and she told us (Amanda) that we shouldn't bring alcohol which we agreed,then suddenly during our lunch they sent one of the workers to tell us we must not have our own drinks ( juices,cold drink and non alcohol champagne) in their place because their boss said so,the same boss we had an agreement with about everything. I'm glad that we were able to contain our selves and move on with our day. We are very disappointed it's more like they just take people's money knowing very well that they won't delivery the services they promise.
