Pretoria Country Club – A World-Class Golfing Experience I had the absolute pleasure of playing at Pretoria Country Club, and from start to finish, it was one of the most enjoyable golfing experiences I’ve had—anywhere in the world. The pro shop team set the tone early. It’s not always the most exciting part of the day, but their professionalism and warmth made check-in smooth and surprisingly enjoyable. From there, the starter marshal welcomed us with genuine hospitality and made the opening tee shot feel relaxed and well-orchestrated. I was paired with a friendly country club member and his son—both absolute gentlemen—who made the round even more memorable. My caddie was exceptional: insightful, proactive, and quietly confident without being overbearing. A true asset on the course. Now to the course itself—simply stunning. Even following a particularly long rainy season, the fairways and greens were in immaculate condition. Lush, perfectly cut, and clearly maintained with great care. The course design offers a great balance of challenge and beauty, with tree-lined holes, well-placed bunkers, and a few water features that test both strategy and nerve. Highly recommended for any golfer visiting South Africa. Whether you’re here for work, a holiday, or a dedicated golf trip, Pretoria Country Club should be on your itinerary.

What a beautiful country club. The staff is hardworking and friendly and the grass is green all round. This venue is very beautiful, super neat with good parking, although I damaged my grill on my car because the parking edges have rocks built on it, which damaged my car when I parked a little bit too forward, which is unfortunate, but other than that, I would highly recommend this club for golf lovers or events.

We visit here regularly. For golf, tennis, lunch, & to visit the ducks of course ! There food is exceptional. I've had pretty much all of it ! & members get 20% off. Such a wonderful day to spend with family & loved ones !
