Just off the N1 highway (Garsfontein Rd and Atterbury Rd The Glen Venue is a spacious and versatile venue situated in heart of Pretoria East, surrounded by the buzz of Menlyn Maine. Just off the N1 highway (Garsfontein Rd and Atterbury Rd off-ramps), it is easily accessible from OR Tambo Airport, Johannesburg, Centurion and the Central and Northern Suburbs of Pretoria. We boast a wonderful semi-covered braai area , fully equipped with 5 built-in braai’s that are perfect for that next “Braai Master” team building competition or bring-and-braai function. For the self-catering weddings and functions , we offer our fully equipped kitchen (4 gas stoves, 4 electric ovens, 2 double-sinks, 2 standard fridges, and a chest freezer) ready for any caterer to come in and prepare a meal for guests. Our patio area is the perfect place to set up your welcome drinks, sundowners or wedding pre-reception, and then have guests walk through our French doors into the venue. ​ We offer all event planning, designing and coordination services in-house , including any décor or catering our clients need, and have audio-visual equipment to accommodate all our meeting and conference guests. We had such a wonderful experience with Fy and the entire team — they were incredibly attentive, fast to respond, and genuinely customer-oriented. From the start, they were problem solvers, easy to work with, and really flexible in making sure our day was a success. The venue itself is spacious and beautiful — we hosted around 140 guests and still had plenty of room for tables, a dance floor, and movement. The bathrooms were ample and spotless, and the grounds were clean and well-maintained. Parking was more than sufficient, and having security on-site gave us peace of mind. The chef’s malva pudding was a crowd favorite — absolutely delicious! The team also went above and beyond to accommodate custom requests, like helping secure gazebos and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Their flexibility and attention to detail really stood out. The only small downside was the hard stop at midnight, but we planned accordingly by starting earlier and still had an amazing time celebrating both the traditional wedding ceremony and the reception. Overall, it was a fantastic venue with a great, responsive team — I’d highly recommend it for anyone planning an event or wedding!

Lovely venue. Works very well especially with the built-in braais. Nice draping and faerie lights. Friendly staff. Fy communicated very well with us before the event and was very helpful on the day of the event. Would definitely recommend the venue!

I rate this company a 5 because they went above and beyond my expectations. I never needed to ask and the communication was perfect from the quote to the end of the event. Well situated and has a lot to offer for any function. Had my daughter's 21st there and it was amazing. Clean and well equipped kitchen, big and clean bathrooms, friendly staff that helps during your function, generator for load shedding - just overall an amazing venue! Worth every cent.
