We have been to Eterna a few times before, but today's visit was very disappointing. Previously, despite the slow service at the restaurant, the experience made up for this. Today we ordered a "footlong" mutton wors roll for R105. When it arrived, it was a standard hot dog length, far from being a footlong. We also asked one of the staff if we are permitted to use the outside apparatus, which is in the outside parking, to which she responded "yes". We saved this until last as it is in the car park, which our son was very excited about. When we got there, our son was climbing the little steps and sliding down, not using the zip line at all. We were then hurriedly approached by multiple staff members at the same time, telling us that we were not permitted to use this as we "did not pay" for it. At no point were we informed of this additional charge or different prices, despite the fact that we asked if it was included. We would have been happy to pay the difference had we known prior, but were not happy at all with the way that we had been approached. Our son was also disappointed that he had to be removed as a result of the situation. Communication need to be improved so that these situations and disappointments are avoided, especially when you are dealing with young children who don't understand.

What an awesome spot for a kids birthday party. The facilities are beautiful, the staff are friendly and welcoming and everything is exceptionally clean. Thank you to the Eterna Team for a lovely morning.

Eterna Events – Fun for the Whole Family! Eterna Events is one of those hidden gems that just gets everything right — fun for the kids, chill for the adults, and good vibes all around. The setup is brilliant — tons for the little ones to do, from play zones to activities that’ll keep them busy for hours. You can actually relax without worrying where they’ve vanished to! The café is a winner too — great coffee (properly made, not that watered-down stuff), good food, and enough space to sit down, plug in your laptop, and get a bit of work done while the kids run wild. It’s the kind of place that feels both relaxing and productive at the same time. Whether it’s a birthday party, family day out, or even just a change of scenery from the usual mall mission, Eterna Events nails it. The staff are friendly, the place is spotless, and there’s something for everyone. If you’ve got kids and you still want to feel like an adult, this is the spot. 10/10 — we’ll definitely be back

We had the most amazing time at Eterna celebrating Varaiya’s 9th birthday! From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience. Fun was truly had by everyone, kids and adults alike, so much so that nobody wanted the celebration to end! The atmosphere was vibrant, welcoming, and perfectly suited for a joyful family celebration. The food was absolutely amazing and received rave reviews from our guests. The staff deserve special mention: they were friendly, professional, attentive, and wonderfully protective of the children, which allowed parents to relax and enjoy the celebration fully. The entire team at Eterna went above and beyond to ensure our day was seamless and special, and they truly made Varaiya’s birthday one to remember. We are incredibly grateful and cannot recommend Eterna highly enough. 💛
