I was disappointed as there was no air conditioner, no fridge. Lady at reception was kind and helpful. I think the rates are over priced

The food from the restaurant was absolutely atrocious and the waiters didn’t seem to care. I ordered Roti and received a dry wrap. My chicken livers were all the way burnt. My friend’s crumb pork was burnt and dry. My cousin’s fish was tasteless. We all couldn’t finish our food.

The staff were most welcoming and hospitable. The hotel itself was horrible to say the least, the wooden floors are not maintained and are creeking, the building is not maintained. The food was average, on the one night they served malva pudding with custard, both were stone cold whereas this is a dessert served warm. The eggs at breakfast was only one option…scrambled and almost raw.

This is a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch on the route from Durban to East London... just 3 or 4 km on from the One Stop and much better in my opinion. We had a great breakfast, quick and good friendly service and very reasonable in price...much less than the fast food places at the service stations. Comfortable dining room, great clean toilets as you'd expect and secure parking. Stop here... you won't regret it!
