If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I am writing this as a warning to anyone considering staying here: DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. Our stay was nothing short of revolting, and we left feeling like we needed to be deep-cleaned ourselves. ​The property is severely neglected and, frankly, unfit for human habitation. From the moment we walked in, the smell of age and grime was overwhelming. The walls were covered in mysterious marks and stains, and the common areas—the dining room and lounge—looked as though they hadn't seen a vacuum or a dust cloth in years. ​The Infestations were arguably the most horrifying part of our stay. We encountered both rats and cockroaches inside the living spaces. To make matters worse, we found rat droppings on the breakfast table and in the eating areas, which is an appalling health violation. I would die knowing what the kicthen probably looked like. It is clear that the management has no pest control measures in place. ​ ​Regarding hygiene, the shower was thick with grime and looked as though it had never been scrubbed. We were also hesitant to even touch the towels, let alone use them, due to their old and musky damp smell. The bedding felt so "off" that we couldn't bring ourselves to get under the blankets. You simply couldnt trust that anything in this hotel had been laundered or sanitized. ​Final Verdict: Everything about this place is old, dirty, and absolutely disgusting. It is a crumbling, pest-infested health trap. Staying here ruined our holiday. I cannot believe the amount we paid for our stay. Paying a tenth of the cost charged would have still been overpaying. Honestly, we feel scammed! Save your money and your health—stay anywhere else but here.

Most beautifull view.....comfy rooms and great service. Cash bar quite expensive for a local though. Water pressure on showers when fully booked need to be looked at.

Lovely place with amazing views. The breakfast room exemplifies both and the breakfast itself was excellent too. I didn't have dinner but there is a nice bar. 4 stars because my room had a corridor 'view' with curtains that didn't draw properly so that I felt simultaneously claustrophobic and exposed. The manager was very helpful and ran me down to get the Durban coach.

We spent our honeymoon at this hotel and we enjoyed every minute. The hotel staff are so friendly and will go out of their way for you. The swimming pool is amazing as well as the view. Their menu was delicious. They will definitely see us again.
