From evening turndown surprises to spotless daily housekeeping, the staff operate with a level of care that makes you feel less like a guest and more like a very well-looked-after favourite cousin. The rooms deliver uninterrupted, soul-resetting views of the Indian Ocean — the kind that make you pause mid-sentence and just stare. Breakfasts were consistently delicious, but the Christmas lunch deserves its own paragraph, possibly its own national holiday. When I politely asked if seconds were allowed, the server smiled and said, “As many times as you’d like.” Reader, I felt seen. Warm, personalized, detail-driven and genuinely friendly — North Star Micro Hotel is proof that luxury isn’t loud, it’s thoughtful. We’ll absolutely be back… with elasticated waistbands. A beautiful, peaceful stay at The Northstar Micro Hotel. Hands on owner, Kristel, gives her clients excellent service and attention. The staff is very well trained and a competent chef. Rooms are exquisite and super clean. Staff is quiet, friendly and helpful- ask and you shall receive. Soul refreshing! Thank you so much.

My cats and I were strolling on the beach and accidently bumped into this gem! I was mind blown. And as a result, I went ahead and booked a few night's stay. I just have to say - nothing could have prepared me for the bliss and tranquility that venue has. The food was amazing, service - efficient. Management beyond superb. The views: picturesque! Highly recommend, and will definitely be back!
