Being from the Western Cape, specifically the Winelands, this wine tasting was so unique. The wines themselves are just so different to the usual tastings you get everywhere else. Pinotage that’s been filtered down to be a white!!! It’s incredible. Very tasty wines, highly recommend. You choose any 4 wines for R95. I enjoyed the white, the Pinotage blanc ‘23. My boyfriend loved the UNESCO 985 Blend and the Merlot ‘19.

We had an absolutely excellent wine tasting experience at Cathedral Peak Wine Estates. The tasting was well presented and enjoyable, with truly beautiful wines, we loved it so much that we ended up buying four bottles. The property itself is stunning, set in the mountains with breathtaking views and a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. It’s a lovely place to take your time, enjoy the surroundings, and fully appreciate the wines. A fantastic experience all round and definitely a place we’d recommend. We’ll be back!

We had a three-night booking but chose to check out after two nights due to dissatisfaction with the service received, particularly considering the rate charged per night. Basic amenities were lacking, including powdered milk provided without spoons and no fresh milk available. Breakfast was only served from 09:00, and coffee sachets were only available at breakfast. While the rooms were clean and neat and the overall property is well maintained, one of our family members was allocated a room overlooking a junkyard and washing line. We arrived just before 14:00 and requested to be moved, however this was declined on the basis that other guests were expected to arrive for check-in. Additionally, no follow-up was made by management to enquire about our early departure, which was disappointing. Overall, the experience fell short of reasonable expectations for accommodation in this price range.

Just incredible. The knowledge care and information was above and beyond. The wines are up there with the best. We were spoilt for choice and left with full hearts and wanting more! Worth a visit.
