Tarentillos Farm Accommodation offers a peaceful countryside escape just outside Tzaneen, ideal for nature lovers and families. My daughter's and I spent three nights in one of the chalets. Beautiful and well tended gardens, friendly people, everything we needed... including an iron! Warm pool to swim in after a hot day.. we had everything we needed and were sad to go. We loved having our early morning coffee watching the sun rise... evenings listening to the frogs while making a fire..

Worst experience ever. We had our children wedding at Tarentilos Tzaneen venue, when we arrived the lady was very friendly and helpful but her husband did not even greet us. We booked in on the Thursday and the wedding was on the Saturday. The chalet and everything was fine but on the day of the wedding, we were told and shown where everything was that was included in the price for the venue. After the ceremony and the photos we all went into the venue for the party. About every hour the old man came into the venue to check up on us which was not nice, because it was our party. when 24:00 came the old man came into the venue ans said "you have to get out because I have to lock up now" I asked him why so early and his lame excuse was he is not allowed to sell alcohol on his premises after 24:00, but we all brought our own cooler boxes with our own alcohol, so we did not buy from him , he also said they sent us an email stating cut off time is 24:00 but we have gone through all our mails nowhere in any of those mails did it say cut off time is 24:00, We all left to go to our rooms but the children went to their rooms that was all together and partied there, not making a noise . The three boys came to the car at the top to get there bag with cloths to go the the other friends room where they were going to sleep when Around 4 o' clock the next morning my 2 sons and their friend were chased from the premises LIKE DOGS. "get off my Property" the old man said. I tried to explain to him they are going to sleep with the other friend in the room he did not want to hear anything. He told the boys to get off his property and he opened the gate for them to go. The boys have been drinking at the wedding and that old man chased my kids into the street to drive 80km home to where the nearest family's house was to go to sleep. The next day they told the groom (my other son)that everything was fine and they will pay his deposit to him but now more than a week later they accuse us that we took plates and the table cloths have stains on, so if I could give anyone advise DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS VENUE. You will have the worst time ever.
