We booked there cause we were traveling as a little family of three. The place was more than perfect. Special mention to Ian. He welcomed us while checking in at the reception and he made us feel like family. Unfortunately we didn't book a long stay but we wish we did because there's a lot of things to experience like the spa, the boat ride, etc. The restaurant was excellent. To be honest, can't complain. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful place, lovely atmosphere. Loved the breakfast manu they offer. Loved dinner. We just had eskom employees who were staying at the lodge for 2 nights making noise outside by the pool side the hole night till the morning dawn, very rude bunch of people, so couldn't sleep one night. Even after security told them to keep it down twice. Either than that tzaneen is beautiful!

I was nearly killed by a faulty shower that fell, thank God I saw it fast and ran, room 41. First day I was placed in room 2 next to the restaurant (horrible experience). The entire building must be renovated. Management not bothered,nothing is done. Avoid the place if you can.

We went for the valentine's day Candlelight Dinner and the food was good, ambience and music outstanding and we witnessed a marriage proposal which was spectacular. I would definitely recommend this place as a restaurant and want to explore their accommodation and boat facilities
