We had a great time. Wonderful staff, Sam, Nellie, Peter and many others. Rooms beautiful, fireplaces that really work, tasty food, well prepared and presented. The estate is magnificent and well looked after. We shall definitely return in the springtime. My wife thinks Peter was absolutely amazing.. He put some roses on our table and arranged us a sparkling wine ✨️ 🍾 so charming all the time .... but we thought he was fantastic genuine happy and lovely person.., Alongside with Nelly ...and Sam.

Spectacular💕👌🏾 World class service! The hotel is immaculate, the team is exceptionally friendly and will try their best to make sure you have a wonderful stay. Food is divine, spa treatment was perfect. Really had a wonderful stay and will surely be back!

The place was beautiful and we were so looking forward to chilling and enjoying the scenery and have coffee after a nice hike but were were told that the restaurant was. fully booked when we saw more than 10 open tables, place was not even half full, then asked for take away coffee, especially since we had just seen a white lady with coffee on the road and told us she got it from there and they still refused inspite of us telling them we just saw someone with coffee on the road, and found it strange that the only people of colour we saw were workers, 2 and 2 makes 4. We confronted them and their explanation did not make sense.This is a sad reality, we do hear about this things but it becomes really hard when you experience it.

The estate and hotel are in a beautiful setting. The food was great and the staff attentive. I disclosed at the time of booking that I am gluten intolerant and they went out of their way to cater for me. We went for a mid week visit for my wife’s birthday and they even baked a gluten free cake for us to enjoy after dinner
