Had an amazing stay! The room was spotless, location was perfect, and the host was so welcoming. Felt like home the whole time. Highly recommend if you’re visiting. Will definitely stay again🤞🏾

Sunrise Serenity is exactly as the name suggests a calm, well kept resort just outside Lydenburg / Mashishing. I stayed (April '26) in the cosy self catering cottage which had all the basic kitchen equipment, bathroom accessories and a working aircon! The cottages are spaced for privacy and the property felt secure with electric fencing all around. I took a pleasant walk around the property which took me down to the lakeside campsite where people were fishing and kids were enjoying canoes. The campsites sit right in front of the lake, with shade trees, spotted a tap for clean water and tidy ablutions nearby. I also noticed colourful canoes, a sparkling pool by the deck and not one but 2 jungle gym play areas for the little ones. It was a warm, comfortable stay for me practical and family friendly. The facilities and setting make it good value for money!

I recently booked 2 cottages to attend a nearby wedding and it was absolutely perfect. I was a little late for check in but they waited for me. The rooms we perfectly equipped, the breakfast was lovely and so was the dinner. I wanted a place for my son to run around and this venue did not disappoint. Very well maintained gardens a beautiful pool and lots of room to kick a ball around. Thank you to everyone for being so friendly and accommodating.

Great experience all round and nothing to complain about! Hosts were excellent, friendly and on point. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

This was honestly one of the best stays I've ever had From booking to check out everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful. Their food is also brilliant. Thank you for the warm welcome and making us feel at home. We will definitely see you in the near future
