The receptionist give you the keys and give you security to show you direction or accompany you to your room. There is no information that they give you, unless you ask. In the room, tv and aircon / heater is not functioning, there is no blanket. They give you things to make tea for one day even when you booked for many days, there is no kettle for making the tea. Fridge is not fuctioning. The area is not clean, especially outside. I WILL NEVER EVER VISIT THE PLACE AGAIN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.

Service from reception was great from check in absolutely amazing. However food service from the restaurant is extremely horrible and bad I’ve never experienced anything of this kind even at normal restaurants you don’t get this kind of bad service. We ordered food at 19:15 pm to be delivered in our room it’s 20:56 and nothing has been delivered we are travelling with our elderly parents they have not eaten and the last meal they had was lunch time. Rather close that restaurant if service is not your top priority…very useless!!!!

Maintenance maintenance maintenance, this lodge has so much potential with the right strategy. Toilet in our room was leaking, hot water only came out for minute and there on it became cold, no kettle to make coffee, some of the lights were not working just kept on flickering.

Nice drive to the location, with a secure feel as we approached the gate, which had security on duty. The staff were friendly and even showed us the rooms before we made the payment, which was appreciated. This place is great for nature lovers. However, I was a bit let down by the room condition. Some basic amenities weren’t working properly—like the TV, which had poor reception, and the bathtub taps, which were rusty. The toilet also took a long time to flush and required several attempts to fully flush, which was frustrating. There were spider webs in certain areas, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. If you’re using Telkom, be aware that the network is very poor here. Fortunately, I had Cell C, which worked fine. The food wasn’t great either, so that was another downside. Overall, I’d rate this a 2 out of 5. The bed was comfortable, but the room condition, cleaning standards, and other aspects of the stay didn’t meet expectations.
