Went to a function. Nice venue. We did not sleep over, so can't comment on the rooms

I can see this was once a beautiful lodge, but now it is poorly maintained and the units are dirty. The braai was cleaned early in the morning, so well done to the staff looking after the outdoor area. The indoor areas are a different story. The kitchen is dirty, we had to wash the plates, glasses, pots and cutlery before using it. The stove is filthy and should be thrown out. The microwave is very dirty. The blankets in the rooms seem dirty and the rooms need a proper clean. The bathrooms need maintenance, cracked cistern, lose towel rails, Shower head needs to be replaced. The lodge has a beautiful outdoor pool area. Staff is polite. We didn't enjoy the stay because the place was dirty, and probably wont go back there again.

My room was full of insects and I saw a small lizard in the bathroom Service was top notch as well as the food Met one of their staff members, Innocent ,he gave me a warm welcome. Location great too

The receptionist was rude and arrogant, payment made at the gate with security without a uniform. R950 per room for 2 with no aircon, the fan is not properly attached, no microwave in the room. Only teabags and 1 sugar sachet. The tv just play etv and very poor screen. The beds are old and very uncomfortable, woke up as if i was doing hard labour. Strategic location, beautiful gate painting and nice garden. I think is good for day visit.
