Booked Ndalo lodge for Christmas lunch and we had good service. The buffet was filling and cooked good. The food was enough for the crowd and clean up was swift as the served. Very great atmosphere and situated at a good space. Quiet but also not to far from the city and shops. Swimming pools are good for the kids…. They enjoyed the slides and the swimming also a good size in depth not too deep for the little ones.

We stayed at chalet 16. Nothing about that room was worth the money we paid for. We notified them prior about coming with a child, there were no sleeping arranged for the child. The double bed that was provided, it was two single bed combined, but you could feel the difference in the bed since, the other one was old and was very uncomfortable as you felt the springs while sleeping. The shower did not have a door, water was spilling all over the bathroom. From the receptionist to our stay, we had a horrible experience It was said to be a self catering room. Disappointed! My event was disturbed by music system from day visitors. Deco did not meet my expectations even though I discussed with them 4 months before the event. Thank God I decided to order fresh flowers from my supplier, they made a huge difference. On the day of the event, it felt as though they were doing me a favour.

We booked rooms for the weekend and was received by 2 very friendly ladies. We also requested for the Braai buffet. When the lady at reception tried to confirm with the kitchen, there was another lady (I presume she is a manager), that rudely told us that we are too late to request the buffet. I showed her the WhatsApp messages where this was confirmed. She said we can go to the restaurant and order from the menu. We went to the restaurant. There was only one lady and she was so shocked and could not help. She did atleast tried, saying we must came back in 2 hours and she will have food prepared. We told her it is OK, we will go somewhere else to eat. We then had to drive to Nelspruit to get something to eat for dinner. The manager was really not friendly or accommodating at all. First and last time we will be doing our year-end get-away here.
