If you are looking for a rustic venue for a special occasion, look no further than Oupa Jan Se Stoor. We were married there in December 2018. René was so accommodating throughout the year when ever we brought family to view the venue for planning purposes. We had use of the venue from the Friday all the way through to Sunday. This was the most beautifully relaxed venue we could find! Tonnes of love for René and her team for making our day so special and one we will never forget! We cannot thank you enough!

We have a booked function for 14 December 2024. The owners were more than accommodating with our needs for our function, very friendly and went out of their way to assure us that we will have all we need for our function. Thank you Renee for your hospitality during our visit and sharing our vision with us. We are sure that our function will be a huge success and it all started with you. Small Wedding venue. Rustic / farm shed vibe. Nothing fancy but this sets a relaxed atmosphere

Everything went well with planning the wedding until the day before when we went to decorate and set things up. No one available to help as arranged...venue was not cleaned from previous wedding...paid for the brides room and was asked the day before the wedding to pay an additional amount for prepaid electricity. So unhappy with the owner and his unmentionable manner of speaking to people. I will never use this venue again and had such high hopes for things to run smooth.
