About Mount Amanzi Resort

Once upon a time, there was a unique bridal couple who didn’t want a typical wedding ceremony.

They wanted their wedding celebration to be like them – unique, personal and fun; an experience they and their friends and family would delight in and treasure for always. Tata to traditional stiff and frou-frou I do’s and hello to tailor-made personal packages, with meaningful details. A wedding celebration guests talk about for years to come. Whether your dream wedding day is a picnic in Mount Amanzi’s beautiful natural surrounds, the River, the Magnificent Magaliesberg Mountain in the distance, and your guests sipping on bubbly and craft beer on picnic blankets in the sun or under the stars; or a tailor-made indoor wedding – where the Venue is your canvas – your happily ever after starts with a wedding at Mount Amanzi.

Good entertainment. Lots to do. It's a shame that the local area is in such a bad mess especially the dam. The resort is clean and very well organized. I was disappointed in the way the staff treat you on departure day. The WhatsApp Message was almost like we can't wait to get rid of you. Parking is a big problem especially for trailers. And it is not wheelchair or elderly friendly with all the stairs. Other than that in general it is a nice place.

Amazing place, so beautiful and peaceful. Would be great if there was WiFi as cellular signal is not great and who watches dstv anyways... Food specials are well priced and yummy, drinks well priced too. Love the new pool tables too, jukebox is outdated and not easy to use, but great idea. Should let it play random songs too as it's so quiet in there, could pick up the vibes

Nice place with a lot of activities, 3 different pools, 1 is a heated pool, Fishing is also available and a games room and more. The rooms are okay. Bathroom, double bed and kitchen all on the ground floor open plan style, with three single beds upstairs..The place has gone down in service in terms of towels not changed , linen starting to discolor and general housekeep on daily basis and certain appliances and plug points don't work, units are not well kept and if you are there in the week expect noise, especially in winter with leaf blower, the bathrooms are small and in dire need of an upgrade.. the thatch roof has just become a breeding ground for all insects.

We stayed at Mount Amanzi in December and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Upon arrival, we were required to pay an additional fee for our 4 year old, yet no extra services or accommodations were provided. The unit we were given was advertised as a six-sleeper, but in reality it was more suited to four people, with a sleeper couch used to make up the numbers. The space itself was small and felt poorly maintained. Cleanliness was a major concern. There were spider webs throughout the ceilings, and I even found a cockroach in the bed, which was extremely unsettling. The overall condition of the unit did not meet acceptable standards. The resort facilities were also not well maintained. The mini golf area, for example, was overgrown and neglected, making it difficult to use and far from enjoyable. Additionally, only one towel per person was provided for the entire stay, with extra towels available only at an additional cost. Upon departure, guests are expected to clean the unit and remove their own trash, or risk being charged a cleaning fee, which felt unreasonable given the state of the accommodation on arrival. Overall, this was a very poor experience and did not meet expectations. I would not recommend staying here based on our visit.
