Stylish, upmarket B&B guest house, function & events venue, secured parking, pool area & braai facilities – close to Sun City & Pilanesberg Game Reserve.

The 17 rooms offer private bathrooms as well as flat screen TVs with a fully stocked complimentary movie guide for your entertainment. Quaint front porches or balconies are on offer to the private rooms. The thatch roofs, the wax-coated cement “béton ciré” floors, the rough white walls, with all white linen, together with floated wood, ceruse and rattan furniture, are all done to create super relaxed, time out rooms. All en suite bathrooms also have the same rustic feel, with the external copper piping, sink basins, and watering cans used for shower heads all create a contemporary charm. The unique lights used throughout Waterfall guesthouse are all hand build from plumbing pipes – even the light switches are water taps. Each room has been thought and designed to match everyone’s expectations. A few “design” details here and there throughout add to the special style and atmosphere of the guesthouse. FROM PRETORIA (N4): Take the exit toward Rustenburg/R24/Krugersdorp from N4. Turn left onto R24 and keep to right-side. After about 600m turn right into Cuckoo Ave. Continue for 2.4km and turn right into Tortelduif Ave. Latitude: -25.692672 Longitude: 27.235421 THE ORIGIN OF THE NAME “ELLIE VENUE” Ellie Venue is named after the most brave little girl, born with a very rare 22q11.2 micro chromosome duplication, she has fought through and survived several operations to save her life since birth, including two open heart surgeries of which the first at only two months of age and the second when she was 10 months old. What a hidden GEM in Platinum City! The venue is neat and safe parking was available for all my guests. The thatched roof gives a rustic true South African feeling. I rented the venue for 30 guests. We had access to the main hall, swimming pool, outdoor patio, braai facility, coffee stand, fridge, microwave, cutlery and kitchen. The venue is equipped with a generator incase of awkward power outages. The staff is friendly and helpful. There were guests occupying some rooms, but it didn’t interfere with our activities. We had no complaints from the guests, so I guess they were content although we were playing music very loudly. I am really satisfied with the experience and the budget. The value for money score is off the charts. This venue is wheelchair friendly except for ease of access to toilets, there may be other toilets that I am not aware of, but that doesn’t rob any point away from the perfect score. It is advisable to bring along cash to tip the workers, since they continuously kept the kitchen clean and even assisted to clear the tables from used cutlery throughout the evening.
