About Casa Mila

Casa Mila is operated by Mareli Visser the winner of Koekedoor (South Africa’s most popular reality baking show) in 2015.

Her love of food and travel keeps her on top of international cooking trends and inspires her craft. Casa Mila is nestled on the banks of the Vaal River 7km outside of Douglas and our rustic farm atmosphere and friendly staff will bedazzle your guests. We provide an all-inclusive wedding service, so no need to worry about flowers, décor or food on your big day. We create comfort food that brings back nostalgia of times spent in your grandma’s kitchen. Everything is made fresh on daily basis using locally sourced, high quality ingredients so that our food simply burst with flavour. A wedding is truly a celebration of a lifetime, and what better way to celebrate than with a delicious feast? We also offer that special wedding cake for your most memorable day. Your wedding cake will be unique, individually designed and decorated to your required specifications and colour scheme. Please contact us for a free quotation. If you want the best wedding venue with the best food in South Africa, Casa Mila is the place to go. The "Koek Tannie" runs the show and everything was exceptional. I would really recommend it.

Such a nice place and wedding venue. Just a shame that the owners have no respect for non-smokers and they themselves smoke wherever they want even in the kitchen. But the rest of the experience was great.
