Built in 1854 the manor has been lovingly restored to offer guests a blend of timeless sophistication and modern comfort. The manor offers five uniquely decorate en-suite rooms, each equipped with amenities. The separate Garden Cottage provides a self-catering option with its own kitchenette and wraparound enclosed stoep with a fireplace. For the adventurous, guests can opt for one of the three Sheperd’s Huts, situated near the manor house. These glamping units offer garden, vineyard, and mountain views, and are equipped with double beds, child friendly bunk beds, separate private bathrooms, and access to a fully equipped kitchen nearby. 1 star for the feather duvet/pillows, its not luxury, its a health risk for allergy sufferers. Feathers in a high traffic hotel, should be proffesionally cleaned once a month, which can result in costly maintance fees. Just replace it with premium inners and pillows. Service of the staff, beauty of the house and land, 10/10! If it were not of the feathers, we would happily return over and over again🥇

The guest house next to the main building was extremely dirty. There were dead bugs and spider webs everywhere. We even found dirt between our bedsheets. We told the host about the dirtyness but he wasn’t very bothered with it. Also the breakfast was very disappointing. We will not visit again… Responding to the answer of the owner below; we have notified you about this matter when we left so this should not come as a surprise!!

We had a 2 night stay at this wonderful, classic guest house. Lorenzo and Petrus catered for all our needs. We were there for our daughters wedding which was at De Woud. We were 18 guests and at the end of this amazing wedding we all agreed that choosing the Caledon Grace was the best idea the bride & groom had beside getting married 😀 ❤️

We hosted our Professional Support Services Wellness Breakfast at Caledon Grace Guesthouse, and it was truly exceptional. The venue is elegant, serene, and beautifully maintained; perfect for meaningful gatherings. A heartfelt thank you to Lizel, Lorenzo, Petrus, and the entire team for their gracious hospitality and attention to every detail. The food was delicious, the service outstanding, and the atmosphere created such a sense of calm and connection. Highly recommended for any group or corporate event that values both beauty and care in their setting
